Twitter is yet another way for you to stay in touch with ABC13! During big weather events we'll be able to give you instant updates as conditions change. You can also send us your real-time eyewitness weather reports.
Mike McGuff, one of our internet gurus here at ABC13, did a Twitter trial during Hurricane Ike. Many people got Twitter updates on their cellphones. It was the only way some could stay up-to-date on the storm once their power went out.
That Mike McGuff guy sounds on top of social networking.
